In the exercise of his duties, the Animal Warden is hereby authorized to issue, on a form provided by the Village, a citation to any person found by him to be in violation of any Village Ordinance regulating dogs and other animals, containing a notice to answer the charge against such person in Mayor's Court of the Village of Highland Hills, if such violation is contrary to an Ordinance or Resolution of the Village. The notice shall command the offender to appear in Court at the next available meeting of Mayor's Court or within seven (7) days at the Bedford Municipal Court, if such offense is a violation of State Code. He shall cause the original of such notice to be filed with the Court and a duplicate copy to be filed with the Police Department. Such citation shall include all pertinent information and shall be sworn to as required by the General Laws of the State of Ohio with respect to a Complaint charging commission of the offense alleged in the citation to have been committed.
