(a) The Law Director shall receive a salary as may be established by Council from time to time, which compensation shall cover all legal services rendered by him with the exception of the following: In defense of the Village in any court or before any civil service county or state board or commission, the Law Director shall receive in addition to his regular compensation such reasonable compensation for such defense, as shall be approved by Council upon bills duly rendered, and all reasonable expenses for litigation, photocopying, phone calls, postage and travel expenses related to such defense.
(b) The prosecutor shall receive a salary as established by Council from time to time which compensation which shall cover all legal services rendered.
