The prosecutor shall serve as prosecutor of all criminal matters only, whether in Mayor's court or municipal court and shall be subject to the direction of the Mayor. No person shall act as prosecutor unless duly admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio, and such person shall have had at least five (5) years of experience in the active practice of law and comply with all legal education requirements with regard to operating as prosecutor of a Mayor's court.
