140.02 APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR.

The Director of Community Development shall be appointed by the Mayor with the concurrence of a majority of the members elected to Council. His or her term of office shall be concurrent with the term of office of the Mayor, or until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. He or she shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.
