1335.22 MAINTENANCE OF INTERIOR STRUCTURE.
   (a)    All structural members shall be maintained structurally sound and be capable of supporting the imposed loads.
   (b)    All interior surfaces, including windows and doors, shall be maintained in good, clean and sanitary condition. Peeling paint, cracked or loose plaster, decayed wood and other defective surface conditions shall be corrected.
   (c)    All bathroom and water closet floor surfaces shall be covered with a water-resistant floor covering.
   (d)    All interior stairs and railings shall be maintained in sound condition and good repair.
   (e)    Every handrail and guard shall be firmly fastened and capable of supporting normally imposed loads and shall be maintained in good condition.
   (f)    All interior surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, floors and floor coverings, shall be maintained clean and sanitary at all times. Soiled walls and ceilings shall be properly washed and surface coated. Floor coverings that are frayed, torn, ripped, cracked, excessively worn and/or excessively soiled shall be replaced.
   (g)    All interior window coverings, hardware and mechanisms shall be maintained in good repair and working order. No person shall utilize plywood, blankets, newspaper, flags, banners, signs or other building materials not intended or designed as window treatments as permanent window coverings for more than 15 days.
