Whoever performs any work without a permit as required under this chapter or any other chapter of these Codified Ordinances, or any owner or tenant of land who performs his or her own work without a permit as required under this chapter or under the Building Code, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. The penalties for this infraction are more fully set forth in Section 501.99 of the General Offenses Code. Each full day’s violation of this chapter shall be deemed to be a separate offense.
