A building permit shall be obtained from the Chief Building Officer (CBO) before proceeding with any excavation for or the construction, alteration, repair, moving or demolition of all buildings or appurtenant structures. A separate permit shall be obtained for signs, electrical work, plumbing work, heating appliances and any other equipment installation that is regulated by this Building Code.
