1307.07 POWERS, DUTIES AND PURPOSES.
   The purposes of the Architectural Review Board are to protect the property on which buildings or structures are constructed or altered, to maintain the high character of community development, and to protect real estate within the Municipality from impairment or destruction of value, by regulating according to proper finished grade, lines, dimension, location and orientation of all new buildings or structures hereafter erected and the moving, alteration, improvement, repair or adding to, in whole or in part, of all existing buildings or structures. Consistent with this purpose and the requirements of the Residential Code of Ohio, the Board shall act as an appeal board to hear requests for variance from the Residential Code of Ohio. The Board shall exercise its powers and perform its duties for the accomplishment of such purpose only.
