The Mayor is hereby granted authorization to accept real and/or personal property donated, gifted or devised to the Village not to exceed a fair market value of five thousand dollars, ($5,000), at any time in the future. Items in excess of five thousand dollars, ($5,000) must be submitted to Council for approval. The Mayor shall report any gifts, donations and/or devises including a description of said property, the amount or value, and the department to which said property will be controlled by, the manner or use of said property, and, if the property is personal property in the form of cash or its equivalent, which fund said personal property will be placed in. Said reports shall be provided to Council within thirty days prior to acceptance of the gift, donation or devise.
