The Director shall have authority to specify the days set for householder rubbish collection in any one or all districts within the Village of Highland Hills.
Containers shall be placed for collection at the street line of the property on or before 8:30 A.M. on the days set for rubbish collection. Containers shall not be placed for collection at the street line of the property before sunset of the day prior to any regular day set for rubbish collection, Sunday, or the following legal holidays: New Years' Day, President's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
Upon emptying the containers, the owners of those containers shall remove them from the street line and return them to their place of storage. Containers which are left at the street line for a period of one (1) day after collection may be confiscated after proper notice by the Director. In the event such notice is necessary, the Director shall provide written notice delivered to the householder or owner of the container by leaving said notice at the residence of the householder.
