905.21 REVIEW BY VILLAGE COUNCIL.
   The Village Council shall have the right to review the conduct, action and decisions of the Public Works Department in regard to decisions made pursuant to this chapter. Any person may appeal from any ruling or order of the Public Works Department concerning this chapter to the Village Council who may hear the matter and make a final decision. All such appeals from decisions of the Public Works Director shall be made in writing within twenty days of the mailing of notice of the decision. Said appeal shall be made in the office of the Chief of the Building Department who shall then direct the appeal to the Clerk of Council. The Village Council shall have authority to command the appearance of witnesses, and shall hold a hearing as soon thereafter as is practicable. Any hearing scheduled may continued, for good cause shown, upon written application of the applicants or upon a majority vote in favor of a motion to continue on behalf of Village Council. After hearing, Council for the Village of Highland Hills shall have thirty days to render its written decision. Thereafter, all provisions of Chapter 2506 of the Ohio Revised Code shall apply to any appeal of the decision of the Council of the Village of Highland Hills.
