923.01 DRAINAGE SWALES AND DITCHES.
   (a)   Definition. For purposes of this chapter, a drainage swale or ditch shall be a man-made low lying stretch of land which is used to gather, collect and carry surface water as part of a designed storm water and surface water drainage system.
   (b)   Maintenance. Drainage swales and ditches are to be maintained by the owners of the premises on which they are located and at no time shall anyone plant shrubs, flowers, plants and/or trees into any drainage swales or ditch. Drainage swales and ditches shall be mowed as part of the yard of the premises on which they are located.
   (c)   Tampering. No person shall at any time place any material, fill, waste or anything else into a drainage swale or ditch which might divert or impede drainage of storm water and/or surface water.
