951.01 DEFINITIONS.
   (a)   "Bulky refuse" designates or includes refrigerators, deep freezers, clothes washers, dryers, dishwashers, sofas or couches, mattresses, furnaces or other similar large household furniture or appliances.
   (b)   "Construction refuse" consists of scrap lumber, shingles, roofing, plywood, tar paper, bricks, siding, nails, cement blocks, plaster, glass, wall board, plaster board, gypsum board, or any other debris of any type or nature which has been produced through the construction, reconstruction, repair, renovation, or remodeling of any residential structure in the Village.
   (c)   "Garbage" means all refuse and waste of animals, fish, fowl, fruit and vegetable matter, and any other material so designated by the County Department of Health or the State Department of Health, which accumulated in the use and preparation of food for the table and that has been discarded and abandoned and is no longer of value to the owner for ordinary purposes of domestic consumption, and includes all refuse arising from the dealing in or storing of the aforesaid substances.
   (d)   "Heavy refuse" designates or includes broken or whole bricks, broken or whole cement or cement blocks, stone, asphalt, gravel, earth, engine blocks or heads, transmissions, axles, automobiles or other materials, scrap metals over five pounds per piece and any other similar object whose weight is high in proportion to its volume.
   (e)   "Recycling" means those materials designated by the contractor providing refuse service to be source separated and picked up separately by the contractor, in the provided container, from garbage and/or refuse.
   (f)   "Refuse" means only such matter as was either in fact noxious or has been refused and abandoned by its owner as worthless.
   (g)   "Residence" includes each residential unit or each residential unit of a multi-family dwelling. Multi-family dwellings of four or more units shall not be included in this definition.
   (h)   "Rubbish" means wire, chips, shavings, bottles, broken glass, crockery, tin, cast and wooden ware, boxes, rags, paper circulars, handbills, boots, shoes or any other litter or trash whatsoever.
   (i)   "Yard waste" means grass, brush, tree limbs, hedge clippings and leaves.
