(a) For the construction of sidewalks, permits shall be required, obtainable from the Building Inspector for a fee of three dollars ($3.00).
(b) No sidewalks shall be constructed in the public right-of-way without express written permission of Council.
(c) All sidewalks shall be constructed in accordance with this chapter. (Ord. 784. Passed 7-11-77.)
(d) A construction permit issued pursuant to this section shall be valid for one year. However, all repairs or replacement of sidewalks must be completed within thirty days from the commencement of construction. If construction has commenced and the permit holder fails to complete such repairs or replacement within thirty days, there shall be a penalty of ten dollars ($10.00) per day assessed until the project is completed.
