(a) There is hereby created and established the position of Clerk of the Mayor's Court.
(b) The Clerk of the Mayor's Court duties shall include but shall not be limited to the following:
(1) The endorsement, filing and entering of all orders, decrees, judgments and proceedings of the Mayor's Court.
(2) Causing reports to be sent to the Supreme Court of Ohio as required by the rules of said court and the Ohio Revised Code concerning the activities of the Mayor's Court.
(3) The compilation and maintenance of a docket for the Mayor's Court.
(c) The Clerk shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall be subject to the Mayor's supervision and control.
(d) The Clerk shall be compensated at a rate to be determined from time to time by Council. Payments shall be made in equal periodic payments as Council shall deem appropriate, and the Clerk shall be bonded according to statute.
