135.12 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT.
   (a)   There is hereby established the position of Administrative Assistant to the Fiscal Officer.
   (b)   The Administrative Assistant to the Fiscal Officer shall work under the direct supervision of the Fiscal Officer and, after direction, prepare payrolls, financial reports, invoices and checks; enter, retrieve and update accounting information and data into and from the computer; prepare and maintain accurate income tax records and reports; receive, consolidate and deposit funds; issue receipts and statements; follow records retention requirements; research information as requested by Councilmembers, the Mayor, the Solicitor or other representatives of the Administration; type Council minutes; attend continuing education sessions; prepare assorted correspondence, schedules, reports, ordinances and material as directed or needed; collect utility receipts and operate related computer programs; bill and collect for EMS services; and perform such other related duties as may be required from time to time by the Fiscal Officer.
   (c)   Compensation for the Administrative Assistant shall be at an hourly rate as determined from time to time by Council.
