The Hiawatha Property Maintenance Code is hereby amended by deleting Section 103 of the International Property Maintenance Code in its entirety and replacing said section as follows:
Section 103 Authority and Enforcement. The City Manager shall be responsible for the enforcement of this chapter and shall have all the necessary authority to carry out such enforcement. Any person designated by the City Manager to enforce this chapter shall be known as the Code Enforcement Officer. The Code Enforcement Officer shall be the Code Official as reference in the International Property Maintenance Code.
