The August 10th, 2020 Derecho made a devastating impact in Hiawatha and the surrounding communities. Replanting trees will be critical for our environment and require lots of hands-on deck. As we have made replanting a priority over the next several years, it will be important to plant trees correctly for them to flourish. For some, planting a tree is something they have done before.
