The property owner may, at the owner’s expense, install a mail box. Said mail box support post shall be set back a minimum of six inches from the back of the curb, and the support post shall be no larger than four inches by four inches, or a two-inch diameter standard steel or aluminum pipe, buried no more than 24 inches below grade. In the event a mail box is damaged by the City in the course of snow removal or street maintenance, the City shall reimburse the property owner the actual replacement/repair not to exceed $75.00.
