A. The subdivider shall provide a streetlight at every intersection or T-intersection, at the end of every cul-de- sac, and if the distance between intersections exceeds four hundred feet (400'), one light halfway between intersections.
B. Streetlights shall be affixed to wood, concrete, or metal poles.
C. Schedule 40 PVC pipe conduits, minimum one and one-half inch (11/2") diameter, shall be installed beneath all driveways, pavements, walks, and in all other areas where buried electrical wires for streetlights may be installed.
D. Streetlights shall be HPS (high pressure sodium), one hundred (100) watts, and mounted approximately twenty five feet (25') above the street. Construction of the streetlights shall meet the requirements of the power company. Locations of all lights shall be reviewed by the economic development committee and the power company.
E. The subdivider shall be responsible for contacts with the power company, payment of the initial costs of the lights, and payment of all costs for operation and maintenance of the lights until such time as the subdivision is accepted by the village. At that time, the village will take over the maintenance costs of the streetlights. (Ord. 2007-19, 5-21-2007)
