Before entering upon the duties of office, the Budget Officer shall execute a bond with sureties in such amount to be fixed by resolution and to be approved by the Board of Trustees, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Budget Officer's duties as set forth herein or by statute, and conditioned upon the indemnification of the Village for any loss by reason of any neglect of duty or any requirement of the Budget Officer.
