9-2-3: RESTRICTIONS ON NEW AND REPLACEMENT CONNECTIONS:
No new water connections to serve a property which was not previously served by the public water system, and no replacement of a water service pipe will be permitted from and after November 1, 1979, that is more than one hundred feet (100') in length, connecting a property to a public water main unless specifically modified or waived by the Village Board. If existing public water mains are not within one hundred feet (100') of the property to be served, then, in that event, the owner desiring a new construction or finding it necessary to repair or replace the existing water service pipe will be required to extend the public water main of the Village at the owner's expense in accordance with the specifications of section 9-2-5 of this chapter and all other provisions of this title.
