No unauthorized person shall maliciously, wilfully, or negligently break, damage, destroy, uncover, remove, deface or tamper with any conduit, structure, appurtenance, manhole, catch basin, cover, or equipment which is a part of the combined waterworks and sewerage system of the village. Any person violating this section shall be subject to immediate arrest. (1981 Code § 6-7-63)
