7-6-6: BICYCLE EQUIPMENT:
   A.   Lights And Reflectors: Every bicycle, when in use at nighttime, shall be equipped with at least one lighted lamp showing a white light or a light of a yellow or amber tint visible at least two hundred feet (200') in the direction toward which such bicycle is proceeding and with a reflector on the rear of a type which shall be visible from all distances from fifty feet (50') to three hundred feet (300') to the rear when directly in front of lawful upper beams of headlamps on a motor vehicle. A lamp emitting a red light visible from a distance of five hundred feet (500') to the rear may be used in lieu of the reflector 1 .
   B.   Siren: A bicycle shall not be equipped with nor shall any person use upon a bicycle any siren. This subsection does not apply to a bicycle that is a police vehicle or Fire Department equipment 2 .
   C.   Brake: Every bicycle shall be equipped with a brake which will adequately control movement of and stop and hold such bicycle. (Ord. 2009-46, 4-6-2009)
