7-3-6: THROUGH STREETS; STOP AND YIELD INTERSECTIONS:
   A.   Through Streets Designated: Those streets and parts of streets designated by the village board of trustees are hereby declared to be through streets for the purpose of this section.
   B.   Stop And Yield Intersections: Stop signs and yield signs and the intersections therein affected, which intersections are designated by the village board of trustees, are declared to be hazardous intersections.
   C.   Vehicles To Stop At Appropriate Signs: When stop signs are erected as herein authorized at or near the entrance to any intersection, every driver of a vehicle approaching a stop sign shall stop and yield the right of way to approaching traffic as may be necessary before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection, or in the event there is no crosswalk, shall stop at a clearly marked stop line, but if none, then at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the driver has a view of approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway before entering the intersection.
