7-2-4: SIGNS ON RIGHTS OF WAY PROHIBITED:
No person shall place, maintain or display upon any public right of way adjacent to any highway, street or alley located within the corporate limits of the village any sign, advertisement, banner, flag or any other material of any nature or kind intended to identify, direct, advise or advertise any person, place or thing. It is hereby declared that the location of any such unauthorized device or sign is a public nuisance which endangers the public health, safety and welfare. Upon locating any such prohibited device or sign, the chief of police, or his designee, is hereby authorized and empowered to immediately remove such unauthorized device or sign.
