The volume of traffic and protection of the public health, safety and welfare require that the adoption of any amendment to this title shall become effective immediately, pursuant to 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-2-4. Any such amendment to this title shall be approved by two-thirds (2/3) of the village board of trustees then holding office. Any such amendment shall become effective upon its passage and posting of the required traffic control devices and signs as provided in this chapter. (Ord. 2009-42, 4-6-2009)
