The village board of trustees shall, in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois vehicle code, 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-101 et seq., regulate traffic within the corporate limits of the village, including, but not limited to, regulating vehicular speed, the designation and posting of stop and yield right of way intersections, the designation of one-way streets and alleys, the designation of parking zones, no parking zones and parking zones for persons with disabilities, and such other traffic regulations as permitted.
