6-3-5: LITTERING:
   A.   It shall be unlawful for any person, in person or by his agent, employee or servant, to dump, deposit, place, cast, throw, sweep, or cause or permit the dumping, depositing, placing, casting, throwing, sweeping, causing or leaving of, litter in or upon any public or other person's private premises or any waters other than property designated and set aside for such purposes, or except for disposal of such litter or garbage that is placed in an appropriate and authorized receptacle for garbage or recycle removal as authorized by Village ordinances.
   B.   Litter includes, but is not limited to, the following:
      1.   Picnic or eating utensils, such as paper plates, cups, napkins, towels, plastic utensils, metal foil, cellophane, wax paper, paper bags, or any food wrapping;
      2.   Liquid or beverage containers such as beer, soft drink, and juice cans or bottles, and milk and juice cartons;
      3.   Tobacco and confection wrappers such as cigarette packages, candy, ice cream, gum or any other type of dessert or confection wrapping or container;
      4.   Food wastes such as fruit or vegetable peelings, pulp, rinds, leftovers, or any other type of table wastes;
      5.   Newspapers, books, placards, handbills, pamphlets, circular, notices or papers of any type; or
      6.   Any other type of rubbish, garbage, refuse matter, article or thing or substance such as discarded clothing, boxes, manure or ashes. (Ord. 2011-24, 6-20-2011)
