A. Fine: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than one dollar ($1.00) and not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each violation. Each day a violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
B. Suspension; Revocation: In addition to the penalties herein set forth, raffle licenses may be suspended or revoked by the Mayor or his or her designee(s) for any violation of this chapter. No license shall be suspended or revoked without first affording the licensee an opportunity to contest the suspension or revocation at a hearing conducted by the Mayor or his/her designee(s). Notice of such hearing shall be in writing and submitted or served upon the licensee no less than three (3) days before such hearing.
C. Violation: A violation of any provision of the Raffles and Poker Runs Act 1 may also be subject to the penalty set forth in section 720 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, which makes a violation of that Act a Class C misdemeanor. (Ord. 2018-24, 6-7-2018)
