Any person convicted of violation of any section or provision of this code, where no other penalty is set forth, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for any one offense, or by imprisonment in jail for a period of not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment 1 . Any person convicted of a violation of an infraction within the city limits of the city shall be punished by payment of a civil penalty not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).
