8-6-7: EXEMPTION FROM CHAPTER:
The following shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter:
   A.   Unimproved lots or tracts of land not falling within the definition of section 8-6-4 of this chapter.
   B.   Any lot or tract of land on which, in the opinion of the village inspector, it is not economically or structurally feasible for the placement of sidewalks along the lot frontage of the public street due to the terrain or placement of preexisting trees or other major improvements.    C.   Any lot or tract of land located within a C-1, M-1 or M-2 district on which, in the opinion of the village board, it is not economically practical for the placement of sidewalks along the lot frontage of the public street due to the current or intended use of the lot or tract of land. Such request for exemption shall be filed with the village clerk prior to any conveyance and in a timely manner which will allow said village board to consider said request for exemption.
