A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the village clerk of the village of Herscher, being marked and designated as the international fuel gas code, 2003 edition, including all appendices, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the fuel gas code of the village of Herscher, in the state of Illinois, for regulating and governing fuel gas systems and gas fired appliances as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said fuel gas code on file in the office of the village of Herscher are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 8-1C-2 of this article.
