Every building permit shall expire and become invalid one year after its issuance. The building inspector, after consultation with the village board, is authorized to grant up to two (2) extensions for periods not to exceed ninety (90) days each, on such terms and conditions as he/she shall deem appropriate. Each request for any such extension shall be submitted in writing and justifiable cause for any such extension must be demonstrated. No building permit shall be valid more than eighteen (18) months after its original issuance. (Ord. 11-33, 9-6-2011)
