It shall be unlawful to blow grass clippings into the curbing and streets when mowing the lawn within the village of Herscher. In the event clippings are blown into the street, the clippings shall be removed within one hour of the time the person completes mowing the lawn.
The first violation of such offense shall result in a written warning issued by the code enforcement officer. The second violation shall result in a written ticket issued by the code enforcement officer with a twenty five dollar ($25.00) fine payable to the village of Herscher. The third violation shall result in a written ticket issued by the code enforcement officer with a thirty five dollar ($35.00) fine payable to the village of Herscher. Finally, the fourth violation shall result in a written ticket issued by the code enforcement officer with a fifty dollar ($50.00) fine payable to the village of Herscher.
The code enforcement officer shall deposit all funds collected with the village treasurer. (Ord. 03-8, 7-7-2003)
