All water lines running from the Village waterworks system to newly constructed homes, residences, dwellings, commercial or industrial buildings or any other similar types of new construction shall be able to withstand fifty percent (50%) more than line pressure. Any existing water lines from the Village waterworks to existing homes, residences, dwellings or commercial or industrial buildings or any other similar types of construction shall only be repaired to be able to withstand fifty percent (50%) more than line pressure. All fittings installed underground shall be constructed of brass. All work on said new or existing water lines shall be approved by the Public Works Trustee or in his absence the appropriate Village employee so designated. (Ord., 1-2-1996)
