(A) All backflow prevention devices or methods required by these rules and regulations shall be approved by the Foundation for Cross-Connection Control and Hydraulic Research, a Division of the University of Southern California, American Water Works Association, ASSE International, or NSF International, or certified by the National Sanitation Foundation to be in compliance with applicable industry specification.
(B) Installation of approved devices shall be made in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer of the device shall be performed. Manufacturer’s maintenance manual shall be available on-site.
