§ 50.10  EXTENSIONS OF MAINS.
   (A)   If a request is made to extend a water main, the feasibility of same shall be studied by the village. If it appears that from an economical standpoint that the extension will pay for itself in a reasonable time and if the funds are available, the village will extend the main.
   (B)   In the event that the village does not find the request for the extension to be feasible or does not have sufficient funds to pay for the extension, then the owners of the property may extend the mains at their expense and under the direction and supervision of the village’s Water Department. After the mains are laid, they shall become the property of the village and shall be of the type material and size as specified by the village.
