§ 71.17 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT.

   In order for a golf cart or UTV to be operated on village streets, the following equipment shall be in good working conditions at all times:

   (A)   Brakes;

   (B)   Steering apparatus;

   (C)   Tires;

   (D)   Rearview mirror;

   (E)   Red reflectorized warning device on front and rear;

   (F)   Slow moving emblem as required by 625 ILCS 5/112-709, attached to the rear of the vehicle; 

   (G)   A head lamp that emits white visible light from at least 500 feet;

   (H)   A tail lamp that emits red visible light from at least 100 feet;

   (I)   Brake lights on the rear; and

   (J)   Turn signals on the front and rear of the vehicle.
