(A) He or she shall appear, prosecute and defend all actions wherein the town is a party, provided he or she shall be allowed his or her actual and necessary traveling and hotel expense while outside the town on business for the town, upon direction of the Board of Trustees, and this expense shall be in addition to his or her regular compensation as fixed by the Board of Trustees by resolution from time to time.
(B) He or she shall perform such other professional services as may be required of him or her by the Board of Trustees.
