(A) There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the design, installations, alteration and inspection of plumbing systems in buildings and structures, including permits and penalties, that certain plumbing code known as the International Fuel Gas Code, hereinafter called “Fuel Gas Code”, published by the International Code Council, Inc., being particularly the latest editions adopted by the state and its amendments and all amendments thereof, save and except the portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended, of which no less than one copy has been and now is filed in the office of the Town Clerk. The same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
(B) From the date on which this section shall take effect, the provisions of the code as herein modified shall be controlling in the design, installation, maintenance, alteration and inspection of plumbing systems in buildings and structures within the corporate limits of the town connected to any water or sewer system owned or operated by the town inside or outside its corporate limits. As the Fuel Gas Code is subsequently amended or modified, the changes shall be incorporated by reference.
(C) Violation: any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed a violation of the ordinances of the town.
