§ 134.03 PRISONERS.
   (A)   Rescuing. It is unlawful for any person, in any unlawful manner, to set at liberty, rescue or attempt to set at liberty or rescue any prisoner or prisoners, from any officer or employee of the town having legal custody of the same or from jail or other place of confinement by the town, or to assist such prisoner in any manner to escape from any such jail, prison, or custody.
   (B)   Escape. It is unlawful for any person confined in jail or other place of confinement by the town, or working upon the streets or other public places in pursuance of any judgment or otherwise held in legal custody by authority of the town, to escape or attempt to escape from any such jail, prison or custody.
