Any person or entity who violates any provisions of this chapter or who files a false application as required herein, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding the amount set forth in the Appendix of Fines and Fees. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues shall be considered a separate offense, and such violation may be charged and conviction had for each day that such violation continues or is allowed to continue.
