The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to appoint, with the approval of the Board of Trustees, a Board of Museum Trustees, to be composed of five members. The Mayor shall designate two members to serve a period of two years, and shall designate three members to serve a period of four years. Further, each member appointed after the expiration of the terms of the original members shall serve for a term of four years.
