If the costs of the work performed under this chapter are not paid within six months from the date of mailing the notice prescribed by § 92.06 of this chapter, the Town Clerk shall forward a certified statement of the amount of such costs to the County Treasurer of the county in which the property upon which the work was done is located, to be levied upon the property and to be collected by the County Treasurer in the manner prescribed by the law of this state.
