(A) Protected streets. No motor vehicle or other equipment in excess of 30,000 pounds (15 tons) in weight shall use or travel the following streets:
(1) Mitchell Road from State Highway 51 south to Seventh Street;
(2) Cemetery Road from State Highway 51 north to the north Town limit; and
(3) Seventh Street from Mitchell Road to Cemetery Road.
(B) Notice. Maximum weight limits shall be posted in conspicuous locations so as to provide notice of the restriction set forth above.
(C) Penalty. Any failure by the driver of any vehicle or equipment to comply with the restriction set forth above shall be punishable as a traffic violation and a dollar penalty as set forth in the Appendix of Fines and Fees imposed plus court costs and other appropriate fees.
