§ 75.07 LICENSE PLATES.
   (A)   Required.
      (1)   No person shall own or have in his or her possession within this town after January 31 each year any vehicle unless such vehicle shall have the current distinctive identification and number plates assigned to it by the Oklahoma Tax Commission
      (2)   Such plate shall be securely fastened to the vehicle for which issued. The plate is to be attached to the rear of the vehicle. Both plate and all letters and numbers must be clearly visible at all times.
      (3)   Such plate shall clearly indicate the type and nature of the operation for which such vehicle shall be used, whether for agricultural purposes, motor bus or the transportation of persons for purposes other than for hire or compensation.
   (B)   Illumination.
      (1)   Every motor vehicle, trailer, semitrailer and pole trailer shall have either a taillamp or a separate lamp which shall be so constructed and placed as to illuminate with a white light the rear registration plate and render it clearly legible from a distance of 50 feet to the rear.
      (2)   Any taillamp or taillamps, together with any separate lamp for illuminating the rear registration plate, shall be so wired as to be lighted whenever the headlamps, clearance lamps or auxiliary driving lamps are lighted.
