All persons connected with the town water system or laying their own private water line shall be required to use standard pipe and/or PVC schedule 40 up to and including two inches in size. All pipes shall be laid not less than 30 inches below the surface of the ground, except in ungraded streets where the grade is already established, the pipes shall be laid at least two feet below the established grade.
