Any incorporated towns and cities within the county shall have the election to submit its town or city to the jurisdiction of this chapter. Unless a written notice is received from said town or city to be subject to the jurisdiction of this chapter, then all incorporated towns and cities within the county shall be exempted from this chapter. In the event of an election from a town or city within the county to be within the jurisdiction of this chapter, any revenue received by the town or city from cable companies shall continue to be paid to said town or city by said cable company.
