§ 110.09 MAINTENANCE.
The cable companies operating in the county shall maintain, at its own expense, adequate service and repair facilities in such a manner that all subscriber service calls are responded to within 72 hours of the receipt of notice of an outage, and within 120 hours of the receipt of a service call for service other than an outage. At the request of the subscriber who has suffered an outage, the cable company shall credit the account of such subscriber for a prorated daily sum representing the number of days the subscriber’s service was out as compared to the total monthly basic service rate paid by the subscriber. Exempted from the provisions of this section are outages caused by acts of God or acts of any third persons over whom the cable company has no control. Subscribers shall have the right to execute a written waiver of the provisions of this section. Any such waiver shall be for any one incident, and the cable company shall not require subscribers to execute a standing or continuous waiver.
